Pomerol… a Wine House at last
Designed and created by the Bordeaux-based architect Pascal Teisseire, this area is devoted entirely to the sale and promotion of Pomerol wines.
A showcase covering 100 m2, this construction assumes a style of modern simplicity leaving the spotlight to Pomerol’s exceptional wines. Luminous, welcoming and functional, it is an ideal setting in which to discover the vintages of one of the most well-known appellations.
70 wines are already presented here.
An extension adjoining the Wine Trade Association Offices, it successfully ventures to place two styles of architecture side by side: the Wine Trade Association’s traditional frontage of Gironde stone stands alongside the Wine House’s flawlessly modern design.
This architectural union sums up the mindset of the Pomerol Appellation, imbued with a sense of tradition combined with modernity.
